Disease Killed One Thousand People, Fear Killed The Other Millions - A Different Article On Optimism

Disease Killed One Thousand People, Fear Killed The Other Millions - A Different Article On Optimism

To be an optimist is the only protector that we really have in life.I did not say that it was a perfect protector, but it is a protector nevertheless.I will explain fully, yet succinctly, how that works. The most powerful experience in life that is negative is fear, the most powerful positive experience in life is hope that is certain and justified.I do not say this lightly, as you can tell by my title for this article. If fear can kill, happiness without fear can keep many alive in a healthy way is my point of view.I did not say that it ends at happiness, but it all definitely starts in a positive sense at happiness.Incurable optimism, I believe, is where it really ends, though.Because of its genuinely powerful and curative nature when fully practiced. If fear took the million, courage, the opposite of fear will make some who were not killed do great things with their lives.I think of the philosopher and psychologist Victor Frankl, when I wrote that last paragraph. In his books, he courageously affirms life by noting the concepts I am writing about in a reasoned, detached, logical way.The only difference is, I leave out the unnecessary mysticism and emotional assertion question he poses and get straight to the point with the reality that courage genuinely keeps people alive, and fear kills through that next panic.Fear and consciousness do not mix, for fear is the ultimate invisible germ that destroys everything.Consider this, when a baby pops his head out of the womb of the Mother ready to live, that is primal courage. When the old person is ready to die with regrets, that is the ultimate form of fear. So, when I say in the title that "disease killed one thousand people and fear took the million" you now know where I am coming from with this reality. So, as I was telling a good friend of mine, they do not need to put anything into the tap water, just fear on the local news that there is something wrong and they have most "normal" people. As the old saying goes, "plant a seed and water it and it grows and if you do not want weeds, do not water the seed of the weed.".So, courage or fear, even if you get information from "the best source" or "the silliest source", it is your choice to act on that information when you get it from a rational or irrational point of view and action. All you have to do is think, then act, and then work with the results.
